U.A.W. Could Cost GM Billions
About 73,000 United Auto Workers (UAW) walked from their jobs on strike against General Motors Corp.
As of now GM has about a 65 day supply of cars, however, as the strike continues the UAW is costing GM not to sell 12,200 cars a day, or $270 million a day. If the stike goes on for another month, GM will loose $8.1 billion.
Negotiators are still working the problem out for the 22nd straight day of bargaining.
